Keeping in mind the fast pace of modern life and nuclear families with both partners working, a need for surgery which is safe with minimal pain and going back to routine activity in the shortest possible time is the need of the hour. However this involves modern technology and acquiring new skills. Technology and instrumentation keeps on changing which leads to recurrent investments in costly equipments making the services unaffordable and available at few places so inaccessible to most of the people. We therefore have started our Raigad Laparoscopy Foundation in November’11 with the following aims and objectives:

1. To provide highly skilled and technologically advanced laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures at concessional rates
2. Spread of laparoscopy and endoscopy up to the remotest villager.
3. Training of doctors and nurses for laparoscopic surgery.
4. Organize camps for Gastro – Intestinal and Gynaecological problems
5. Improve the patient doctor relationship.

As a first step we are starting two programmes:

1. For persons / people having yellow ration cards or Below Poverty line.
2. For Donor’s Family Members

Persons / people having Yellow Ration Cards OR Below Poverty Line we will be doing Laparoscopic surgeries mentioned below at concessional rates which will be 30% less than the normal hospital rates.

Donors Family Members will get Hospital services at concessional rates depending upon donation amount.

• Donors who donate Rs.35,000/- will get 30% discount on hospital charges.
• Donors who donate Rs.50,000/- will get 40% discount on hospital charges.

Family includes husband & wife till the age of 60 years & children from 5 years till marriage or 25 years of age whichever is earlier.

Here we look forward to a mutually beneficial and fruitful relationship. So we want to cover nearly all surgical problems which are handled by Dr D.B.Patil and Dr (Mrs) J.D.Patil so that during the course, you will be getting back your money’s worth, our trust and happiness of helping the poor. Following surgeries will be done at concessional rates:

A. patient’s aspiring for above schemes should have good general health without any co morbid medical illness such as:

1. Bronchial asthama or COPD
2. Heart disease and CVA
3. Hepatitis B, C and HIV.
4. Renal failure
5. Septicaemia and may require ICU
6. Pregnant patients with preeclamptic toxemia and eclampsia.
7. Bleeding Disorders etc

B. Final decision about inclusion of particular case under the scheme will be taken by either Dr D.B.Patil or Dr (Mrs) Janaki Patil
